Evaluation of PD-L1 Immunohistochemical Expression And Tumour Infiltrating Lymphocytes In Different Types Of Endometrial Carcinoma
Mariam Mahmoud Seleem El-Rashedy;
Abstract
The role of PD-L1 immunohistochemical expression and tumour infiltrating lymphocytes in different types of endometrial carcinoma was studied in this thesis as a cross sectional study that was carried out on 32 cases representing cases of endometrial carcinoma who underwent endometrial and excisional biopsies interpretations at Ain shams university hospitals pathology units from 2019 till 2021 with their clinical and radiological assessments.
Correlation between PD-L1 staining of tumor cells and Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes and histopathological parameters (diagnosis, Grades, Extent of myometrial invasion, serosal involvement, lymphovascular invasion, and lymph node involvement) was done.
Type II endometrial carcinoma showed more affection of PD-L1 function in both tumor cells and tumor infiltrating lymphocytes, especially in serous carcinomas.
