Analýza politických projevů prezidenta Václava Havla v době od 1989 do 2003

Abstract

Evrywhere in the world speeches play an important role in the life of every successful president. A smart president is one who knows how to influence his nation by verbal and nonverbal linguistic means with some intonation and a strong linguistic context. This work gives firstly an overview of the history of rhetoric, language and communication and the biography of President Vaclav Havel. The main goal of the thesis is to provide a stylistic, syntactic and acoustic analysis of the speeches of President Václav Havel. The work also aims to monitor the non-verbal means of communication that President Vaclav Havel used in his speeches.
