Assessment of Diabetic Children’s Problems related to Insulin Injection

Abstract


The management of diabetes in children is particularly challenging as they need insulin treatment in order to survive and have a normal life. Insulin injection treatment could have many problems such as insulin side effects, wrong practice of insulin injection, psychological problems, financial problems and school problems related to insulin. Such problems should be studied in order to decrease them and enhance the adherence to the treatment (Hanas, 2012).
Aim of the Study:
This study aimed to assess diabetic children’s problems related to insulin injection.
Research Questions:
1- What are diabetic children’s problems related to insulin injection?
2- Is there a relationship between diabetic children’s characteristics and problems related to insulin injection?
