Abstract


The research attempts to discuss some effectiveness standards that could be used in the initiation stage at the mental schools in Cairo. A questionnaire, made up of 40 indicators, is administered to 56 of the personnel working in fourteen mental schools in fourteen educational sub-zones. The questionnaire deals with four main standards that should help to increase effectiveness in the organizational climate, the educational process, the societal participation and the human resources. In the end, there is a schemata that could hopefully help in making use of the suggested effectiveness standards at the initiation stage.
