Abstract
In line with Egypt vision 2030 with its main objective of increasing the small and medium enterprises and manufacturing contribution in the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and since most of small and medium industries depend on petrochemical end products as a feedstock, this research work focuses on studying the impact of Small and Medium Petrochemicals Enterprise (SME’s) on Egyptian National Economy.
As a conclusion of this research work, there is an opportunity to replace the imports of about 1,144 of finished products derived directly from petrochemicals end product by its local manufacturing and gain more and more profit in addition to reduce about 8% of the local annual imports that represents about Billion EGP 120.
