Abstract
to standard reference materials (US NIST SRM 1880 and 1889) generously provided from Assiut Cement Company. Then, they were applied to other industrial products viz .. Sugar, superphosphate fertilizers and randum cement samples.
The contents of the thesis are summarized as follows:
(1) The first chapter includes an introduction to two parts, the first part (A) involves voltammetric section and the second part (B) involves spectrophotometric section. The first part (A) gives a summary to techniques that has been used in this work e.g. differential pulse, linear sweep, square-wave, cyclic voltammetry and chronocoulometry. It includes also an introduction to the bare solid electrodes specially that utilized in this thesis; the glassy carbon electrode (GCe) as a working electrode. It also involves an introduction to stripping analysis in either anodic or cathodic directions. Finally, it includes the literatu The present thesis deals with voltammetric and spectrophotometric studies on the determination of Mg(Il), Al(lll), Mn(II) and U(VI) or F e(Ill) metal ions.
