Abstract

The loss of educational spaces for sufficient natural lighting to fulfill its function and reliance on artificial lighting in daylight and the presence of the sun is a bad and wasting matter of energy and a negative impact on the health and psychological state of the users of the space. Therefore, in this research we present an already existing lecture hall and how to study it, analyses it, and make amendments to it using one of the sustainable techniques and the Kinetic systems (light shelf) to improve daylighting in it and use one of the simulation programs (DIVA for Rhino & Grasshopper) that prove the improvement of daylighting and thus reduce energy and through that we create a specific methodology through points that, can be used to improve the daylighting in any existing hall.
