Abstract


Iatrogenic injuries to the bile ducts are I uncommon entities in clinical practice. That have been encountered more frequently after the advent of
I laprasocpic surgery.
Therefore, this study aims at evaluating the role of non surgical management of the complication after hepato-biliary surgery (endoscopic and radiological) comparing with the operative techniques as a primary rule of management of these complications.

It will compare the results

combined techniques in management.

36 patients were included in our study in a prospective manner. Presenting with bilary complications after different hepato biliary operations and the outcome was reassessed after 6 months 12 months post operatively and including in the follow up program.

Non surgical measures managed successfully about 44,4% in our cases, while combined with surgery managed about 80% of cases and 19.4% required surgery from the early beginning.
