Zwitterionic Gemini Surfactants and Their Applications in Petroleum Field

Abstract

In the present work, a series of three newly zwitterionic Gemini surfactants were prepared and used as capping agents for the preparation of silver nanoparticles. The prepared zwitterionic Gemini surfactants named as followed: • (E)-4-(((2-(dimethyl(octyl)ammonio)ethyl)imino)methyl)-2-methoxyphenyl octyl phosphate, bromide salt abbreviated(8-po-8 ). • (E)-dodecyl (4-(((2-(dodecyldimethylammonio)ethyl)imino)methyl)-2-methoxyphenyl) phosphate, bromide salt abbreviated (12-po-12). • E)-dodecyl (4-(((2-(dodecyldimethylammonio)ethyl)imino)methyl)-2-methoxyphenyl) phosphate, bromide salt abbreviated (16-po-16). This work contains three chapters:-
