Abstract


Nursing is a Noble Profession. It requires loving heart & deserve for compassionate care. It is one of the most delightful arts, which needs blending of knowledge, skills & values. Nursing encompasses autonomous and collaborative care of individuals of all ages, families, groups and communities, sick or well and in all settings. It includes the promotion of health, the prevention of illness, and the care of ill, disabled and dying people.
Attitude is manner, disposition, feeling and position with regard to a person or thing, tendency or orientation especially in the mind which has been learned and has become one’s typical mode of response. Attitudes involve a complex organization of evaluative beliefs and feelings. How much we like or dislike something determines our behavior towards that thing
Self-esteem can be defined as a form of self-acceptance, personal appreciation and subjective respect of one’s own. The period of youth is very important in terms of development of self-esteem.
