Abstract


tudents' incivility behaviors are a serious issue and a major problem in academic settings, frequently encountered by faculty staff and students. Such behaviors threaten peace of the faculty staff, students, and the academic environment it need to be addressed and managed. Incivility in the classroom settings can result in reduced engagement of students with, or total disengagement from the learning process. Also, Incivility has been negative impacts on students, faculty staff, and learning environment. It can lead to impaired relationships between students and faculty staff.
The present study was aimed to assess the relationship between nursing students' incivility and engagement in the faculty of nursing at El-Fayoum University through assessing nursing students’ incivility, assessing nursing students' engagement and finding out the relationship between nursing students' incivility and engagement in the faculty of nursing.
The research question which stated that "Is there a relationship between nursing students' incivility and engagement in faculty of nursing?". A descriptive correlational design was used.
The present study was conducted at Faculty of nursing, El-Fayoum university. The study subjects included 400 nurse
