Abstract
Effect of cytokinin type and concentration and their interaction on cluster fresh weight. Using BAP obtained the highest record for number of shoots, and the lowest values for shoot length, shoot fresh weight, number of roots and total chlorophyll content, while using kinetin achieved the highest values for shoot length, shoot fresh weight (although it was not significant), number of leaves (although it was not significant), number of roots and total chlorophyll content.
The influence of cytokinin concentration: 0 ppm obtained the highest number of leaves, number of roots and total chlorophyll content, and the lowest number of shoots and shoot length, 1 ppm had the highest shoot length and number of leaves; and the second position for number of shoots and roots and 2 ppm got the highest values of shoot length, number of leaves and shoot fresh weight, although the last one was not significant. This concentration got also the second rank for number of shoots, 3 ppm had the greatest number of shoots, and the lowest shoot length, number of roots and shoot fresh weight and 4 ppm occupied the second grade concerning number of shoots, and the lowest grades for shoot length, shoot fresh weight, number of leaves, number of roots and total chlorophyll content.
Effect of the interaction between cytokinin type and concentration,
The control treatment (no cytokinins): had the highest number of leaves and number of roots.
