Abstract


Cancer is a major healthcare challenge worldwide, and it is one of the leading causes of deaths, accounting for 9.6 million deaths in 2018. Lung cancer is associated with the highest incidence of cancer-related deaths. Patient's satisfaction with nursing care is defined as the patient's opinion of the care received from nursing staff and is acknowledged as an outcome indicator of the quality of nursing care (Bray et al., 2018).
Aim of the study:
This study aims to assess satisfaction of patients with cancer at day care units through:
Assessing knowledge of patients with cancer related to health care services at day care units:
1- Assessing health needs, problems of patients with cancer related to health services at day care units.
2- Assessing patients with cancer satisfaction with health care services at day care units.
Subjects and methods
Research Design: A descriptive design was used in carrying out this study.
