Abstract


Cerebral Palsy (CP) can be defined as a condition resulting from a brain malformation or injury sometimes occurring during pregnancy, delivery or post-birth treatment, Cerebral Palsy is a lifelong condition that affects each child differently which is causing varying difficulties surrounding body movement, muscle control and coordination, weight, tone, reflexes, body posture, balance, and leading to limitations in activities (Stavsky et al., 2017) and (Petersen et al., 2018). Functional deficits developing due to physical, cognitive, emotional, and social disorders prevent children with CP from performing their roles in society (Panteliadis et al., 2015).
And therefore, cerebral palsy became the most common cause of physical disability among children which lead to a potentially negative impact on the quality of life for all family members especially their mothers who are the main family caregiver and affect their involvement in the community not only for the mothers but also for the whole family members.
There are negative effects on mothers QOL toward care of their children with CP such as: higher levels of stress than other mothers, the disabled child's dependence on others in daily activities had a significant effect on
