Synthesis of some new heterocyclic compounds and their applications as fabric dyes

Abstract

This study was utilized to the synthesis a series of different mono and Diazo dyes. The coloration performance of the prepared dyes was assessed on the wool fabrics .The structures of the synthesized derivatives were confirmed using IR, UV, 1HNMR and C13NMR spectrophotometers. The study showed that the dyed fabric showed good light, washing, rubbing, and perspiration fastness. The antimicrobial activity after dying process has been investigated to some fabric.
