Abstract


Value and risk management strategies bring together the key stakeholders in the workshop organize to examine and agree on the project goals, identify ranges of possible change and create management responses to deal with risks and improve project quality inside the endorsed timescales and budget. Constructions in Egypt need to use value and risk management, especially the national construction projects, which use the fast track technique to archive maximize quality, compressed schedule, and planned cost. The research used distributed questionnaires in three national and fast track projects in Egypt as a cases study.
The research used qualitative techniques to analyze their responses to find the most critical risks, which have destructive impacts on project goals, and how to use value and risk management to deal with risks in that type of project in Egypt. The results showed common and critical risks, which must take care of it from the first stage in fast track construction in Egypt to suggest previous alternative solutions to save the project's value and goals.
Finally, the researcher hopes that practitioners applying the findings and suggestions in this study will see positive change, improved profitability, and a more significant competitive advantage as a result.
