Abdalla Kamal Fouad Kandil;

Abstract

One of the thesis’s aims was assessing the factors affecting the railway stations accessibility; many factors were tested to find the most affected factors on the railway accessibility and those factors were the average distance from the other public transit modes stops and the platform of the railway station, and the average number of passengers per a seat in the departure trains per year.
The other thesis aims was finding an easy solution to measure the accessibility of railway stations and that aim was fulfilled when it was concluded an equation, where the independent variable was the accessibility coefficient which was an indicator for the railway station accessibility, and the independent variables which had a strong relation with the dependent variable. The independent variables were the average distance from the other public transit modes stops and the platform of the railway station, and the average number of passengers per a train seat
