Abstract


Information processing patterns are one of the factors leading to learning difficulties reading that are among learning difficulties because of their major role in the learning process (Magdy Abdel Karim Habib, 2007, p. 216).
McCarthy indicated that each type of information processing has different teaching strategies than the strategies used with the other. While visual explanation strategies used, practical experiences in teaching people with the right style, verbal explanation strategies are used, direct questions that require cognitive recall. In the education of those with the left- hand type (Nidaa Ezzo Ismail, 2013, p. 40).
Hence, knowledge of the brain and its functions facilitates the innovation and design of treatment plans that help to take advantage of the health side of the hemispheres to compensate for weaknesses, which helps in improving the performance of students, especially students with learning difficulties (Gaddes, 2013, p44)
Pupils with learning disabilities can learn well when both the demands of school assignments and teaching methods match their patterns of information processing (Mr. Abdel Hamid Soliman, 2003, p.7).
Hence, the necessity to look at the differences between pupils with learning difficulties to read in light of the information processing pattern prevailing for them when treating them, which helps in achieving the maximum benefit from their potential.
And despite the recognition of the inadequacy of traditional teaching methods for students with reading difficulties, as indicated by Crowe, L, 2003); And the study (Bentum, K, 2003) that students with learning difficulties to read differ clearly from their ordinary peers in taking advantage of traditional methods of teaching.
As traditional teaching methods, do not lead to the level of achievement and advancement in the skills of alphabet recognition and understanding despite their training and teach them for a long time.
