urrently, the population with prediabetes has reached approximately 318 million around the world, accounting for 6.7% of the total number of adults. About 69.2% of the prediabetes population live in low or middle-income countries.
Since prediabetes is a transitional stage between normal and diabetes, and it is a reversible process, early screening of prediabetes is of great significance for early detection and reducing the incidence of diabetes.

Data was collected using structured self-administered questionnaire that includes socio-demographic characteristics, special habits of the studied employees, history of chronic diseases and medications, physical activity assessment by IPAQ-SF, diet assessment by MEDAS, anthropometric measurements, and risk of developing prediabetes was assessed by the ADA- CDC prediabetes Risk Score. HbA1c was done to high-risk participants based on the prediabetes risk score.
