Abstract

Synthesis and characterization for some mixed ligand divalent metal complexes in nano size and their anticancer and biological activity studies
Ternary metal complexes are metal complexes containing more than one type of ligands. Such ternary complexes have been widely studied due to their utility as model systems for metal protein complexes and its occurance in biological fluids especially ternary complexes of metal (II) containing nitrogen and oxygen donor ligands due to their high stability.
Nanosized metal complexes are an active field of study and a technoeconomic sector that is rapidly expanding across a wide range of application aspects. Because of their unique physicochemical properties such as melting point, wettability, electrical and thermal conductivity, catalytic operation, light absorption and scattering, nanosized metal complexes have gained a tremendous interest in technology.
In this study new transition metal complexes of Co(ΙΙ), Ni(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) have been synthesized and characterized in both bulk and nanosized formations. They have been synthesized in the presence of nitrilotriacetic acid as primary ligand and creatine as
