Abstract


Along life can be enjoyable if it is productive and relatively free of illness. Nutrition help in achieving these aim.

So the current study designed to evaluate the nutritional status of employment, nutrient intakes and identifying the role of socioeconomic and other factors that may affect nutritional status.
Adult persons at the age of 24-51 years living at urban area (Tala) in Minufiya Governorate were the target group of present work.


A random sample of 120 adult persons representing both
t
males and females were chosen from Tala area. The males group

composed 57 and females group composed 63 persons.
The plan of study was designed to collect the following data: Age, sex, marital status, education level, current and
previous work, family size, income sources and food budget .

Anthropometric measurements includes: body weight, height, and BMI were measured .


4 Food habits Including number of daily meals, which meals were omitted, method of cooking and kind of diet ( special or ordinary family diet).
