Abstract

In this chapter the basic principles of Neural Networks are

introduced. Hence I developed a routine for solution of a

• sample problem, letters recognition, Specificaly the recognition of the ASCII code of letter A. The results of the

developed routine are clearly show the convergence of the outputs (output-layer outputs) toward the desired ASCII codes, these outputs, for simplicity (there are a large number of the resultant data) are depicted in one figure. The weights of the output-layer are plotted in polar plot in more than one position through the recognition process.
