Preparation of Fluorescent (PMMA/Si02) Hybrids to Study the Photophysical Processes and Improve the Solar Energy Conversion Efficiency

Abstract

The present study illustrated that the optimum tilt angle of the BFSCs in summer season was found to be 15.7° which is approximately equal to (^ -15) where <f) is the location latitude. The large increase of the outdoor optical efficiency obtained by the bending design is due to the combination of reflected solar radiation component besides both the direct and diffused light. Summarizing the previous considerations, an optimization of the FSC manufacture, weathering stability, economical shaping and fixed tilt is mandatory under actual varying climatic conditions which are in continuous flux during the year.
