Abeer Mohamed Abd El-Aziz Elgamel;
Abstract
Hearing loss is commonly known as ‘deafness’. It is a hidden disability; it is difficult to identify a child with hearing loss until interacting with him/her or noticing hearing aids. Aids may not be conspicuous as some hearing aids are very tiny and placed in or behind the ear or have surgically implanted as cochlear implants.
The study aimed to to assess the mothers' awareness towards care of their children suffering from hearing loss.
Research Questions:
1. What are levels of mothers' knowledge towards hearing loss?
2. What are mothers' practices towards their children with hearing loss?
3. What are levels of comunication with children suffering from hearing loss?
The subject and methods of the current study discuss under the following four (4) designs:
I. Technical Design
