Nursing Care Guideline for Breast Disorders among Post Cesarean Section Women

Abstract
Breast disorders after cesarean section are common disorders during lactation with a prevalence of 3% to 33% of lactating mothers in Egypt within the last five years, about 89% of mothers before discharge reported one or more breastfeeding complaints. The major complain was trouble in positioning and attaching the infant to the breast (88.5%), followed by breast and nipple complaints (30.3%). Breastfeeding complaints persist even after discharge of the mothers (72.5%). caesarean section considered the only distinct predictor of breastfeeding disorders in the 1st week (Sithara et al., 2020).
The international healthcare community has considered the ideal rate for caesarean sections a concomitant with breast disorders to be in between 10% to 15 % of total post cesarean section women in worldwide (Elsa and Giugliani, 2014).
