I on the needs of cancer patients. Because the specialized oncology nursing is a challenging for meeting complex and
I intense patients needs, the oncology nurse must have a comprehensive and current knowledge base and practical skills
I for improve quality of life for oncology patients.
The aim of this study was to develop a comprehensive oncology nursing module and testing its content validity and

Methods:

The research was conducted at radiotherapy and nuclear
I medicine department and two general surgical departments, at
Ain Shams University Hospital. The subjects were (a) 124 adult
I oncology patients selected from oncology outpatient clinic and general surgical departments (b) 36 nurses (study group) caring
I for adult oncology patient in two settings (c) 30 professional oncology expertise (medical and nursing) working in Ain
I Shams University and National Cancer Institute, Cairo
University.
