Abstract


The world is facing an increasing shortage of surface and ground water resources due to two main reasons, the increasing population growth, and human activities to overcome this increasing growth. These two reasons are considered among the most important environmental problems related to water pollution.Where water pollution results from the discharge of highly polluted domestic, agricultural, and industrial effluents into natural waterways.
Water pollution is one of the main environmental sources associated with the outbreak of infectious diseases, as it was found that about 80% of infectious diseases spread in the world are transmitted through this polluted water. Therefore, the need for clean water has become one of the most important environmental issues under consideration.
From an economic and environmental point of view, this work was focused on how to explore an efficient method for treating polluted water.
The work carried out in this thesis is summarized in to three main chapters; namely, introduction, experimental and finally results and discussion.
