Abstract

This experiment was conducted in 2018 and 2019 to evaluate the effect of wood tree species irrigated by treated sewage water, fresh water on the growth rate ( bio mass above the soil surface) and accumulation of various elements in soil layers and plant parts inCorymbia citriodora, Khaya senegalensis and Cupressus sempervirens
The experiment was carried out in two sites: the first at the experimental Forest Plantation in Sarabium Forest in Ismailia province, which was dedicated to the safe disposal of treated sewage water by the cultivation of various of wood tree species for 20 years . The second experimental farm is located in the Grppy Nursery in Giza governorate, which fresh water for the irrigation of the plants in it.
1-The irrigation with sewage water increased the growth of the bio - mass above the soil surface of the trees compared to those irrigated with fresh water, Khaya senegalensis trees have shown superiority in the growth of the biomass above the surface of the soil over the trees of Corymbia citriodora and Cupressus semoervirens.
2- The sewage water contains a much higher proportion of macro nutrients N, P, K. and the micro nutrients (iron (Fe) – copper (Cu) – zinc (Zn)- manganese (Mn)) than those found in fresh water, which has had the greatest effect on the superiority of trees in growth.
The growth of wood mass above the soil surface of the three tree species has shown significant differences in both sites. The use of
