This study was conducted in Suez Canal University Hospital (SC UH) in Ismailia.
A written structured interview sheet was used to collect data from the women including personal history, obstetric & gynecological history, and symptomatology of postmenopause.
The study population was 54 postmenopausal women aged 60 - 70 yrs. These women were free from any diseases which affect the serum calcium level or bone mass density, and they were not under treatment with any medication which affects the serum calcium level or bone mass density.
