Abstract


Occupational health hazards are recognized as global problems for health care workers especially among nurses who are the first health care provider (Sabita et al., 2018). Four main reasons regarding acquiring, facing hospital hazards, which were: the lack of access to appropriate protective equipment, behavior of staff, inadequacy of tools, and excessive tendency toward high‑speed performance (Abdi Zarrini, et al., 2018).
The impact of a hazardous working condition can range from injuries and occupational diseases such as musculoskeletal system and respiratory disorders, or cancer, to even premature death (AL-Sarraji, et al., 2017). Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a basis to reduce occupational hazards in an acceptable level, and it covers employee health, safety, and welfare in the workplaces (Gul, et al., 2017).
