STUDY OF SOME STRESS HORMONAL RESPONSES AND HEPATIC FUNCTIONS IN BILHARZIAL HEPATIC CIRRHOTIC PATIENTS UNDERGOING CAESAREAN SECTION.
Ramadan Ramadan EI-Sayed El- Kastawy;
Abstract
It is well known that the human body reacts to the surgical trauma by a set of neuro-endocrinal responses collectively termed the stress response. It can precipitate clinically important complications particularly in patients with underlying medical problems. This fact has stimulated attempts to find anaesthetic and analgesic techniques that can attenuate this stress response.
