Mohamed Abdel- Wahed Gaber;

Abstract

Pubertal gynecomastia is considered as a normal physiological process and it occurs in many boys at the time of puberty

Many boys having this problem may complain of change in the selfesteem. breast tenderness. pain and sometimes breast discharge and psychic upset for the boy himself and his parents.

The exact incidence among our Egyptian boys is still unknown and many controversies exist regarding its eti0pathology
These facts motivated us to try to study the incidence and etiopathology of this problem among preparatory and secondary school boys in Menoufiya Governorate
