Abstract


 Clinicians should consider the assessment of quality of life as routine practice along with the other important measures including symptomatic evaluation, laboratory tests, and neuroimaging to provide a holistic care of their MS patients.
 Implementing the MusiQoL in follow-up studies would be very useful, not only to explore and confirm its sensitivity to changes, but also to explore its ability to be used for prognostic purposes.
 Encourage the adequate adherence to medications that helps introducing new line of treatment when needed in order to decrease the rate of relapses and the disability to improve the QoL of MS patients.
 Spread awareness about the MS disease among the population.
 We may need further research to demonstrate the role of education in the chronic disease and its impact on the QoL.
 We have to encourage the MS patient to have a job and to facilitate the conditions to be committed to their work.
 Eencourage the MS patient who smokes to quit, and to introduce programmes for smoking cessation in order to enhance the psychological impact and to improve the QoL of MS patients.
