Abstract

Carbon Nanotubes nanotubes have a great attention in recent times because of their extraordinary physiochemical properties; such as electrical and thermal conductivity, flexibility, strength, sensors,. etc. these Thus unique properties make nanotubes the most interesting material, as well as potentially useful for future technologies. Two main types of CNTs can be recognized based on the number of a concentric tube. Single wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) consist of a single sheet of graphene rolled up into a single Nanoscale tube, while multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) consist of multiple concentric tubes. CVD is one of the most important methods for synthesizing CNTs. it involves the growth of CNTs from volatile carbonaceous precursors (e.g., acetylene, ethylene, ethanol, or methane) at 350 to 1150 °C using either a nanoparticle as a catalyst. CNT was purified and functionalized with the carboxylic group to reduce the hydrophobicity nature of CNT.
An approach to manipulate the chemical properties of the individual CNT sheet by attaching nanoparticles to CNT surface and enhancing these properties. Semiconductor metals oxides have a great attention researhes due to their magic properties of high stability, chemical, physical, electronic, and high responsibility for sensor applications. The combination between CNT and semiconductor metals oxide is creating a great class of nanocomposite materials that open a new wide range of applications in numerous areas of science.
Molecular modeling is useful for studying the electronic properties of nanotubes alone and after interacting with metals o
