Abstract

This Work has beeo carried out <o investigate the synthesis of 2-thioxopyrimidinone derivatives, their reactions with alkyl halides, a. haloacids, a-haloketones, p-enaminonitriles as well as their reactions with some aliphatic and aromatic aminesjsynthesis of 2-hydrazmothieno-pyrimidmone and 4- hydrazinothienopyrimidine and their reaction with some aliphatic carboxylic acids to give Lriazolo compounds have been performed. Also, their reaction with nitrous acid to give tetrazolo compounds
