Gastric Myoelectrical activity in patients with End - Stage Renal Disease on Maintenance Haemodialysis

Abstract

It is known that chronic renal failure patients are assotiated with strutural and functional abnormalities of the gastrointestinal tract. This study was carried out on twinty patients with chronic renal failure on maintenance haemodialysis and ten healthy persons as a control group (Volunteers). These patients were . selected from Dialysis Unit, faculty of Medicine, Mansoura and Benha University hospitals. These patients were (6) females and (14) males. age of patients range from 22 - 56 and means ± SD of the age of Patients (35.2 ±. 12.6) while for control 21 - 52 years. means ± SD is (35.3 ± 12.6)
