THE INFLUENCE OF PROPOFOL VERSUS BARBITURATE ON THE NEUROLOGICAL OUTCOME AFTER HEAD INJURY

Abstract

This study was performed in emergency hospital of Tanta University, on GO patients who had severe head injury £GCS <S). Patients with associated injuries (cervical injuries, long bone fractures, thoracic, abdominal and pelvic injuries} or those with severe systemic disease (diabetes, hypertension, previous myocardial infarction, stroke, chronic renal and hepatic failure) were excluded from this study
