MOHAMED GAMALELDIN MOHAMED DRAZ;
Abstract
Two-spotted spider mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari.: Tetranychidae), is an economic pest causing high damages to different crops (Vegetables, flowers and fruits) in worldwide including Egypt. The acaricidal activities of thtee acaricides Abamectin,Bifenazate and Cyflumetofen, recommended rates were used with five consecutive dilutions of them. navel orange peels oil (Citrus sinensis L.) and methanol leaves extracts of (Wild mint, Mentha longifolia L., Henna, Lawsonia inermis Linn, Mint Mentha sp.and Basil Ocimum basilicum) were evaluated against the adult females of this mite at six different concentrations ( 312.5,625,1250, 2500,5000 and 10000ppm), after 24 and 48 hrs. Under laboratory conditions. Bioassay results indicated that after 24 hours of treatment that orange peel oil and henna extract achieved The highest death rate was 74% for both treatments, and the lowest death rate was in the mint extract treatment, which was 28%, at the highest concentration of 10000ppm. After 48 hours of treatment, the acaricides Bifenazate and Cyflumetofen achieved the highest death rate at a concentration of 480 and 200 ppm, reaching 92 and 94%, respectively. The death rate in orange peel oil increased to 88% on 10000 ppm. The lowest treatment was the basil extract, which reached to death rate 54%.
