Abstract
he purpose of this wort was to study the normal MRI anatomy of the hippocampus and the perihippocampal fissures with evaluation of the changes in relation to pathological conditions.
The study was conducted on twenty patients of different age groupsvarying from fifteen to eighty years of age.All the patients were subjected to :1. Thorough history taking. 2. Complete clinical and neurological examination. X lectroencephalography (EEG).4. Computed tomography (CT) of the brain with an angle tilt 20° to the canthometal line. Non-contrast scan was done in 18 patients and in 2cases pre and post contrast scans were done.
