Abstract

Adolescence is one of the most important stages of age and is a period of unbalance in personality. It is a period of growth that begins with puberty where sexual maturity is achieved, where social and emotional maturity is achieved, but this clearly varies among individuals depending on the influence of social, environmental and psychological changes that occur on a teenager and its implications for his behavior. This research was directed to uncover some social, psychological and environmental problems and their implications for the adolescent's behavior such as(family relations, social relations with friends, rebellion against power, shyness, aggression, fear, introvertedness, difficulty of school subjects, obtaining weak degrees) . For the specificity of this stage, the researcher relied on the descriptive approach and the questionnaire newspaper in addition to some measures to study a survey sample consisting of 100 students. The researcher saw the application of this study to a sample of students in urban areas at the secondary level(16- 19 years) , on a sample consisting of 200 cases to answer the following questions: What is the effect of social, environmental, and psychological changes that occur on a teenager and its implications for his behavior? And it ended up with a set of results, the most important of which are: The way of dealing with adolescents is greatly affected by parenting methods such as violence by one of the parents or the parents' preference between males and females. The degree of family bonding between the parents also affects the adolescent's behavior, as the father's absence for a long period from home or separation between the father and the mother may cause him to deviate. The social and economic level of the family such as the educational level of the parents, the financial income also affects the adolescent's behavior as well as home, work, and school environments. Psychological variables also affect adolescent behavior, such as aggression, fear, and anxiety. Suffering and emotional deprivation due to divorce or the death of a parent.
