Abstract
he objective of the current study is to develop an optimized PCR- based detection method for the Egyptian isolates cf the infectious bursal disease virus (IBDV-E). To this end, four PGR primers based on published JBDV sequences determined throughout the world were synthesized commercially and used to amplify the hyp^fvariable region (HVR) in VP2 gene.
