Abstract
Both endometrium and myometrium are of mesodermal origin. They are formed secondary to fusion of Mullerian ducts and the adjacent inesenchyme between eighth and nineth post ovulatory week.(') At 63 days, the fused Mullerian ducts are identifiable as the uterus and are beginning to be divided into the corpus and the cervix by a constriction arising between them
