Abstract

Al-Hatta’a is considered one of the veteran poets who lived in Jahiliyyah and understood Islam, and he is one of the good people. Clearly or closer to clarity, for two reasons: The first is that al-Hataa distinguishes between these two purposes, and the second: that cultural reading goes deep into extrapolating the text and showing what is behind it through it.
Research Methodology
This research applies the cultural approach and sheds light on three systemic defects in pre-Islamic society through the poetry of al-Hattiya, namely:
1- The hero industry, which is: the industry that glorifies and exaggerates the wealthy people with money and power by exaggerating their praise of poets with special linguistic abilities, and this industry has led to:
- The appearance of the ego in the poet.
- Trade in poetry.
- A deformity in pre-Islamic society.
2- The transformation of the ego in the pre-Islamic era from I am condescending to the other, negating him to I praising the other and accepting him, and this praiseworthy ego appears in the Hottie in:
- Exaggeration of Al-Hotta in seeking help.
- Al-Hateah satire for his family.
- Spelling after praise.
