Abstract


Total In o|'laceinenl is one of the most commonly performed Orthopaedic jSfi?co;li:res.
The Two main types of total hip replacement which are usually employed are cemented and cementless THR.The complications of THR can be classified as intraoperative complications such as neurovascular injuries, early post operative complications such as mlection, dislocation and thrombocmbolic complications and finally late postoperative complications such as loosening, fracture of the femoral component and ectopic ossification.
