Hemodialysis-Induced Leukocyte jression of Adhesion Molecules, MAC- and L-Selectin, in Hepatitis C-Virus Infected and Uninfected Patients
Amr Mohamed' Hussein Ibraheem;
Abstract
Patients with chronic renal failure (0RF) undergoing hemodialysis display an impaired immune response manifested by increased susceptibility to infections. L-selectin (CD62L), which is an adhesion molecule of the seleclin family and Mac-1, which is an adhesion molecule of B2 integrin family, arc implicated in leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells.
