STUDIES ON PHYSIOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF SOME GROWTH REGULATORS ON BANATY GRAPES DURING STORAGE

Soad Mahmoud Mohamed;

Abstract

Tins current investigation was carried out during 1994 and 1995 on 25 years old grapevines of "White Banaty" seedless cv. grown in an experimental vineyard at Orchard of Assiut University.
Physical and chemical characteristics of grapes during cold storage at 3-5°C and 85-90% RH were studied in response to Gibberellic Acid (GA3) and Kinetin (Ki) (0, 25, or 50 ppm) each, as well as Cycocel (CCC) at 0, 100 or 200 ppm applied once or twice spray at pre-bloom or anthesis
penod of grapevine through growth season to investigate the pre-harvest treatments of growth regulators tested on starability and keeping quality of grapes.
