Abstract
The present study has been carried out to investigate the possible immunornodulatory and chemopreventive effects of tow bacterial polysaccha-rides and their derivatives, After some in vitro bioassays for measuring inhibition of the carcinogenesis process Bacillus subtilis sulphated levan (BSL) was chosen as a potent product to investigate its in vitro and in vivo effects in preventing the initiation, promotion and progression of hepatocarcinogenesis
