Abstract
The present thesis deals with the field, petrographical, mineralogical and geochemical
studies as well as evaluation of EL Tarr albitite as a fluxing ingredient in some ceramic industry.
The evaluation of the albitite as a flux ingredient in some ceramic industries is considered
since it acts as a fluxing agent contributing the liquid phase during firing process to approach the
onset of consolidation and then vitrification.
