Abstract
This study was done to improve the yield of some important crops such
as maize plant by using some nitrogen fixing bacteria. Three differenl isolates
were identified as Azotobacter chroococum Azospirillum lipojerum and
Bacillus poiymyxa and tested their activity for nitrogcnaseT
