Abstract
In this study HPV infection and p53 expression were detected immunocytochemically in urinary bladder tissue of Egyptian patients with schistosomal and non-schistosomal bladder cancer and were correlated with schistosomiasis as an etiologic factor, 114 bladder cancer specimens (64 schistosomal and 50 non-schistosomal) were tested for HPV infection and p53 overexpression using streptavidin-biotin method. Also p53 expression was quantitated using image analysis
